HELP - How to find your Monster Hunter: World Deluxe and Pre-order Bonus Content
Looking to tackle huge beasts in the open world action game Monster Hunter: World and you're having some issues locating your pre-order bonus or Deluxe Content? No need to fear, we've put together a handy guide to help you find those bonuses within the game!
How to find your Monster Hunter: World Pre-order Bonuses
- Immediately after the first launch of Monster Hunter: World a message will appear to confirm you've got the Origin armor and the Fair Wind Charm bonus content.
- You can use your Origin Armor directly when creating your character. Pick "Default Armor" on the left hand side during creation and select "Origin" in the top right menu. Alternatively, you can swap to this Armour later in the game.
- To gain access to the Talisman of the Fifth (Fair Wind Charm) you will need to finish the first tutorial area. Visit your home in the city of Astera and talk to the housekeeper cat. It opens a menu, through which you can unlock all add-ons and bonuses. Note: If this entry is still grayed out, you must first accept and complete the first hunting mission. Alternatively, you can also try to save the game and restart the game completely.
- A "bonus" window will open, showing you which extras you have activated. You have to manually confirm some of the entries first. Some are already activated. For example, the Origin armor, if you have already selected it during char creation.
- You now put armor pieces and also the talisman in the object's chest. Just grab the talisman into the small slot below the weapons slot. Click, select talisman, done.
How to find the additional content from the Digital Deluxe Edition
- The message that you have new extras may not appear until after the second game start (if you have previously reached the city of Astera).
- Chat with the housekeeper cat at your home in the city of Astera and select from the menu the option to unlock additional content.
- In the now open "Bonus" window you can unlock all further extras. Owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition will find among others the Samurai set, Face Paint, Stickers and Gestures.
- Go over to your item box and select "Change Appearance."
- You are now standing in the dressing room and can select pieces of the Samurai set or equip the complete gear on your character.
- You're also able to adjust your figure later. Select from a New Hairstyle from the Deluxe Package or for example the Face Paint of the Samurai. All new content will be displayed with a flashing exclamation mark.
- New gestures and stickers are also included in the Deluxe package. Open the main menu, select the "Communication" tab and then the gestures or stickers via the submenu.
- In the Gesture menu, you will notice three new entries on the far right of page 3. Matching the Samurai armor set you can activate the "Zen", "Ninja Star" and "Sumo Slap" gestures here.
Whether you send your Monster Hunter in Samurai pants or in chain armor, with face paint or without is entirely up to you. You can even upgrade your Mosnter Hunter World experience with the additional content of the Deluxe Edition by getting the Monster Hunter World Deluxe Kit from our store.
