Prepare for the Mortal Kombat 1 - Khaos Reigns DLC with the official launch trailer!

Greetings kombatants. Get ready for another dose of bloody mayhem, Mortal Kombat 1 is set to welcome Khaos Reigns DLC on September 24th!

NetherRealm Studios unveiled a line-up at Comic-Con 2024 that's set to rock the arena. It includes shock guest stars like Ghostface from Scream, the T-1000 from Terminator 2 and Conan the Barbarian. But that's not all! Die-hard fans will be delighted to find Noob Saibot, as well as Sektor and Cyrax in all-new female versions. Six new fighters in all, promising devastating kombos and some pretty terrifying fatalities (Ghostface's takes the cake). There's also the return of the Animalities, a finisher we haven't seen since MK3 and the addition of a new storyline.

Here's the launch trailer, with the venerable Liu Kang calling for the circle of violence to be broken. Which is quite magical in terms of irony, for a character who's been around since the first opus in 1992.
