Get involved in the upcoming Hunt: Showdown's Closed Alpha by signing up

The Closed Alpha of Crytek's stealth action title Hunt: Showdown will be playable this winter. Signup for a chance to test.

Hunt: Showdown is the next game from the developers over at Crytek, who have previously worked on the Crysis series. This upcoming first person shooter will put you in the shoes of a bounty hunter where permadeath is present, the only way to survive is to level up, unlock gear and keep trying until you suceed. Players who want to get involved are able to get involved by signing up for a chance to get in on the Closed Alpha coming later this winter.

The world of Hunt: Showdown is full of dangers and enemies waiting to get the drop on you. Creatures lurk around every corner, and it will take your skills at tracking to find them and take them down. Unfortunately for you, others will also be on the hunt and each team might be progressing at a different stage in the hunt so be sure to find your target fast or lose out. Game developer Fatih Özbayram talks a little about the upcoming Closed Alpha and what players can expect with it:

"Closed Alpha will be our first chance to get player feedback, and we are really excited to see how they will interact with the game. After initial tests with a very limited amount of players we are planning to invite more and more testers with each phase. This is the first step in building a close relationship with our community and integrating their feedback into our development process, something we plan on continuing—and intensifying—during Early Access."
