Wired Direct 2021 showcase shows off a range of upcoming indie titles!
It may be a slower than normal time in gaming this year, but there's still plenty to look forward to as publisher Wired Productions, best known for their Indie titles such as The Falconeer, Deliver Us The Moon and Victor Vran gave us a glimpse at their upcoming titles during their showcase on Monday.
Hosted by Julia Hardy, the hour long presentation revealed several titles from Wired's portfolio with both gameplay trailers and developer interviews. First up on the reveal was the charming puzzler Tin Hearts, that gives players a chance to guide a troop of mischievous tin soldiers through a world full of wonder. The game is currently scheduled for Winter 2021. Moving we got a taste of the beautiful 3D puzzle platformer Lumote, which originally launched last year but has been given extra funding by Wired to make the game even better when it relaunches and those who purchased the game before will get a free update.
One of the more popular titles from Wired's library is the psychological thriller The Town of Light and the developers behind that working on a new title with Martha is Dead. Much like their previous game, Martha is Dead will give players a story rich adventure with an engaging world to explore. Get back on the battlefield when Tiny Troopers returns with the release of Tiny Troopers: Global Ops coming in 2021.
With Arcade Paradise you inherit an Arcade and must manage it to become profitable, but is there something else at work behind the scenes? The game features over 35 arcade games and voiceovers from Doug Cocke, who you may know as the bearded Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series!
Finally, the show closed out with a taste of the story-driven game The Last Worker - which bares a passing remembrance to games like Telltale's The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us adventures.
