Ten years after the original, the Lovecraftian horror returns with The Sinking City 2—this time as a full-fledged survival horror experience rather than a laid-back detective sim. Instead of the original protagonist from Part 1, you’ll take on the role of occultist Calvin Rafferty and trudge through the flooded, decaying Arkham of the 1920s, where an awakening Great Old One will strike fear into your heart with scarce resources, challenging battles, and unsettling exploration. Developer Frogwares is using Unreal Engine 5 for the first time, which is intended to create a noticeably denser atmosphere and an even more menacing setting. Cataclismo - The Old Kingdom is the first major expansion for Digital Sun’s acclaimed fortress-building RTS. Instead of a single fortress, you must now reclaim an entire lost kingdom—and the continent along with it: At the new War Table, you plan your campaigns, recruit troops, research technologies, and manage multiple citadels simultaneously. Each conquered fortress has its own countdown until the next wave of attacks from the Mists hordes—so supplies and reinforcements must be cleverly shuttled back and forth between the fronts as the threat grows day by day. Players who have already built bulwarks against the Horrors brick by brick in the base game will find a significantly larger strategic meta-level added here.
