E3 2016 - All the Trailers and Gameplay in one place!

E3 2016 has been delivering so much video content it's a little hard to keep track of everything going on, fear not though as we've put everything into one place for your viewing pleasure sorted by game names for easier browsing.

We've had a fantastic year with the likes of Prey, Dead Rising 4, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Titanfall 2, South Park: Fractured but Whole, Battlefield 1 and so much more! It's going to be an exciting year of video games.

Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 is going back to the roots of World War I and it's looking to be a wonderful return to the franchise. What makes this great is the massive open maps with giant airships, Battlefield games have always had great battles and this one doesn't disappoint. The game will be coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on October 21st!

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

The COD franchise takes the war to space, featuring some ship combat which could just as easily have been from a Star Wars movie. We're promised a story which is true to something while also offering a twist (because you know, we've had wars in space).

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is due for release on November 4th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Dawn of War III

Dawn of War III has just shown off it's first gameplay footage from the game, take a look at what you can expect from the upcoming RTS including massive mechs, spacer lasers and marines!

We've been promised that DoW III will be a mix of Dawn of War and Dawn of War II so it's looking good so far! Look for more gameplay footage later this month when they'll be showcasing off one of the full missions from the campaign.

Dawn of War III will be released on PC sometime in 2017.

Dead Rising 4

Frank West is back once again! This time he's trying to have a quiet Christmas holiday with no distractions but wouldn't you know it the zombies are causing him havoc once more. Dead Rising 4 goes back to the same setting of Willamette, Colorado where the original game sent us to a shopping mall, this one will feature crazy things and even power armor for reliving those Iron Man moments.

Dead Rising 4 is out on December 6th for Xbox One and PC (only Windows 10).

Dishonored 2

When they announced Dishonored 2 at last year's E3 I was a little excited because the first game was such a great title, it mixed great stealth with story and great powers. This time the story takes place 15 years after the events of the original and Emily Kaldwin is all grown up and is fully playable as a character (or you can be Corvo once more). Each character has their own unique set of skills/abilities and we're even promised you can play the game without ANY powers at all.

Dishonored 2 is out on November 11th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. If you pre-order the game today you'll also receive a copy of Dishonored Definitive Edition for free!

The Division

What a year for The Division it's been, love it or hate it the game has been a runaway hit with many people falling in love with the reimaginaed New York setting. It's a chance for us to look to the future with the upcoming expansions set to release soon and hopefully offer more content further down the line (at least until they can setup a sequel).

The Division's Underground is due out on June 28th for PC and Xbox One (August 2nd for PS4). Survival is "coming soon", so that may be as early as next month or at a guess August.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends

What happens when you combine cards with one of the most popular franchises in video gaming history? The answer is Elder Scrolls: Legends which takes the classic RPG series and puts a spin on it with card combat. I guess people heard how popular Gwent was :)

The Elder Scrolls: Legends will be out sometime in 2016 for PC and iOS (at least for now).

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition

It's hard to believe that Skyrim is already 5 years old, the massively popular RPG took the world by storm and now Bethesda have announced they'll be giving fans a new updated version which will be free for everyone that previously owned Skyrim + all the DLC content (or Legendary Edition).

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition is being launched on October 28th and if you still don't have it you can grab the Legendary Edition right now to be ready for your free upgrade!

EA have been busy working with studios after the recent game Unravel did wonders for the indie scene, now a small team from Sweden is making a brand new title called Fe, which features a beautiful world full of discovery, conflict and relationships.

It's the first title in the new "EA Originals" lineup which will focus more on original games with small teams (basically Indie support). No release date has been given yet but I'd imagine 2017.

FIFA 17

Football is always about evolving and what's life without a little depth? Now FIFA17 will have the same type of story as a Mass Effect game with dialogue choices and more!

FIFA 17 is out on September 29th for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

For Honor

Vikings, Samurais and Knights all do battle in this upcoming title from Ubisoft. Players fight against each other with melee-weapons such as axes and swords. The game features competitive multiplayer modes that can support up to eight players, who will be split evenly into two different teams.

For Honor will be released on February 14th 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. You can also pre-order the game right now to get the Legacy Battle Pack for free!

Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon is back and this time it's heading to the outbacks of Australia (hopefully with Kangaroos being featured) so expect plenty of wide open dirt roads and great forest areas. Customize everything, hire and fire your friends, and explore Australia in over 350 of the world’s greatest cars, including the debut of the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario.

The game will be out on PC (Windows 10 only) and Xbox One on September 27th.

Friday the 13th: The Game

When games based on movies (or movies based on games) get created sometimes they're not great, Friday the 13th: The Game is based on the popular horror movie and while it's not going to hurt anyone to play it the game actually doesn't look all that bad.

Friday the 13th: The Game will release to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in Fall 2016.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Get ready for an open world third person shooter set in Bolivia, the next entry in the popular Ghost Recon franchise will feature one of the largest open worlds that Ubisoft has ever created and judging by the recent E3 buzz surrounding the game with their great videos showing off gameplay it's going to be a big hit.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is out on March 7th 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Pre-order the game today to get The Peruvian Connection Bonus Mission for free!

Grow Up

BUD is back! The surprise announcement during the Ubisoft press event is that the little red guy will be making his return in a brand new sequel called Grow Up. Join him on his new adventure as he travels to the moon and beyond!

Grow Up is coming out in August 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Halo Wars 2

Halo Wars 2 is coming to PC (Windows 10 only) and Xbox One on February 21st 2017. You can play the multiplayer beta from June 13th - June 20th if you can't wait until February.

Injustice 2

We've known that a new Injustice game was in development for a while so it's nice that the game has finally been announced at last. The original game was such a huge hit and this one looks to be even bigger with new characters, suits and much more! Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd and others will be making their debuts in Injustice 2 (with more reveals coming in future).

Sadly at present the game is not coming to PC (but I imagine it will at some point) so for now you'll only be able to play this on PS4 or Xbox One. Injustice 2 will be out sometime in 2017.

Just Dance 2017

You know the deal by now, new year and a new Just Dance game is coming our way. For the first time ever though it's been confirmed that the game will be heading it's way to PC Digital alongside it's counterparts.

Dance your way towards October 2016 because that's when we'll finally have our chance to boogie the nights away!

Killer Instinct

Something that Killer Instict does well is bring a range of characters with their own distinct moves and gameplay style, now a familiar face from the Gears of War franchise is heading his way to do battle in the ring.

Killer Instinct and General RAMM is out now for PC (Windows 10 only) and Xbox One.

LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens

The Force is strong this month, it's 2 weeks away from the launch of LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens and even if it's in a galaxy far far away it doesn't mean new things can't find their way to our little galaxy. Take a look at this brand new look at the upcoming game and see some of the key movie moments recreated with the LEGO humour TT is known for.

Mafia III

After a great game with Mafia II the series is returning later this year in Mafia III, this time however the setting is moving to New Bordeaux, a city based on New Orleans. Lincoln Clay is a man on a mission and he's after revenge for what was done to him, he'll not let anyone stop him from causing harm to those that hurt him.

Much like Mafia II before it the entire world is a huge open world with plenty to see and do, the game features several locations such as swamps, bars and towns with the entire game being set in 1968.

Mafia III is out on October 7th and can be pre-ordered right now to receive the Family Kick-Back for free!

Mass Effect: Andromeda

This little title has been causing big waves recently since very little is actually known about it and what we do know is already getting us very excited. Mass Effect Andromeda is the next entry in the popular Sci-Fi RPG series from BioWare and this time we're going to a brand new galaxy with new species and new technology, as well as a brand new lead character called Ryder (assuming Ryder will work for both Male/Female like Shepard did in the original trilogy).

Mass Effect Andromeda is still unknown on when it'll release, the game has been pushed back from the end of this year to the start of 2017 so it should hopefully be out before March 2017. The game will be available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Prey

Now this was an unexpected reveal (at least it would have been if the Internet didn't leak it just before E3), for a long time we have been waiting for a sequel to the 2006 game Prey and for a while it was actually being created though the game took a different approach to it's design and put you into the shoes of a bounty hunter whose job it was to hunt down criminals in a seedy underworld (much like Coruscant from Star Wars). Sadly though Prey 2 eventually got cancelled and that was the end of a chapter, at least until now when they revealed they're rebooting the franchise and Prey lives again.

This time you're playing as Morgan Yu, who awakes aboard the Talos 1 in the year 2032 and must uncover the secrets hiding in the depths of the space station while being hunted by the mysterious alien force that has taken over. You’ll have to rely on the tools you find on the station – along with your wits, weapons and mind-bending abilities – to combat the growing threat and, hopefully, survive.

This was my personal pick of the show as I loved the original game with all it's portal/gravity gameplay so I hope they at least pay homage to that with sections designed around what made the original so unique.

Prey is coming out in 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Quake Champions

Another surprise was the announcement of a brand new Quake game called Quake Champions. Not long after DOOM has been released into the wild but it's death match cousin will also be receiving another entry in it's series. The game features a roster of unique characters, each with their own distinctive abilities, allowing you to fight the way you want.

It's Quake for a whole new generation, Quake Champions currently has no release date but more info will be unveiled at QuakeCon in August. It'll be available on PC only (at least at launch) when it finally makes it's way into the world.

ReCore

Get ready for an action adventure game which looks like Zelda mixed with Halo mixed with Metroid Prime. Take a look at this brand new E3 Trailer focusing on each character's unique abilities.

The game was originally planned to launch this Spring but was pushed back to an unannounced date, the game will now be available on September 13th 2016 and 3 days later in Europe for Windows 10 and Xbox One.

Resident Evil 7

Resident Evil 7 is going back to the survival horror roots and that's a good thing, when it was revealed to the world we expected a Silent Hill or PT style game and that's exactly what we're getting. It's Resident Evil in name only (though I hope they do include some characters from the franchise instead of wiping the slate clean).

Resident Evil 7 is out on January 24th for PC and PS4.

Scalebound

Scalebound is an action role-playing game from the fantastic developers over at PlatinumGames. You play the game in a third-person perspective, in which players assume control of Drew as he progresses through the world of Draconis. Players are bonded to and accompanied by a dragon called Thuban, who can breathe out fire and assist players throughout the game.

If you ever wanted a game with a massive dragon and great combat, this is probably it.

Scablebound is due out for PC (Windows 10 only) and Xbox One in 2017.

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves puts you in a role of a pirate set in a first person perspective and features user-generated content, in which players have the ability to craft their custom stories by using in-game tools. It will also feature co-op gameplay, with plenty of adventure for you and your shipmates to embark on.

Essentially what the game becomes is you, a group of pirates and a ship trying to go on an adventure and defeat other pirates. This could be the best pirate game ever made (sorry Monkey Island) or it might sink like a rock, we'll have to see how the team from Rare do with this.

It's not yet got a release date but will be available on both Windows 10 PC's and Xbox One.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole

The kids from South Park are coming back, on December 6th the boys (and girls) will be suiting up for their first Super Hero adventure. South Park: The Fractured But Whole will improve it's combat from the previous game and you'll be able to have a better choice when it comes to making a character from a set of super hero types which you can mix and match together.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew VR

Set phasers to VR Captain, Star Trek: Bridge Crew puts you directly onto the bridge in a Starfleet ship as a member of the Federation. Join your crew and command the new vessel U.S.S Aegis to explore the uncharted sector of the galaxy: the Trench.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew will be available on all major VR platforms this Autumn.

State of Decay 2

State of Decay is back! This time the action let's you team up with others in up to 4 player co-op in a shared persistent world full of zombies, vehicles and plenty of nails to build yourself a new home. Originally the game started out as a MMO type game but has opted to go back to a smaller experience for a group of people rather than the full always online method that normally comes with MMO games, you don't need to be online with an Internet connection to enjoy the game. Think of the co-op as drop in/drop out and can be used at any point (presumably you can't just logout in a field).

The flare seen at the end of the trailer is not just for show either as it's a key component to the game, you can use it to signal others for help should enemies overwhelm you.

State of Decay 2 is out in 2017 for PC (Windows 10 only) and Xbox One.

Steep

Fancy yourself as a bit of an extreme sports person? Or maybe you're the kind of person who loves danger but doesn't want to get hurt doing something dangerous? Well good news then because Ubisoft are releasing a brand new title which involves wing-suits, snowboarding, skis and plenty of snow to keep you stocked up on snowballs!

The game will be an open world game based around the french mountains in which you can go anywhere and do anything, see a mountain you want to ride down? You can do that! Want to challenge friends to see who is better at a certain jump off a mountain? You can do that too!

It's refreshing to see a new game based on winter sports, it's not been something we've had the luxury of seeing recently so maybe it'll be the next big game (and something that's a good alternative to SSX).

Steep will be coming out in December for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Titanfall 2

Get ready to suit up for another Mech adventure, this time the game will also feature a campaign complete with it's own story. After the original lacked one let's hope the new story mode isn't tacked on and will provide an enjoyable experience that separates itself from the multiplayer.

The Titanfall 2 Multiplayer will feature new Titans – each with their own unique abilities, a deeper set of Pilot abilities, an expanded arsenal of weapons, more customization options, and a robust progression system.

Titanfall 2 is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on October 28th.

Trials of the Blood Dragon

What happens when 2 Ubisoft franchises have a baby together? Combine bike action with a retro 80's inspired video-game mash up and you get Trials of The Blood Dragon.

Trials of the Blood Dragon is an explosive single player experience with a wicked combination of renowned, competitive, physics-based Trials gameplay and unique, neon-drenched Blood Dragon attitude.
Journey through a colorful story with warzones in Vietnam, settling scores in Miami, confronting TV heroes in Tokyo and the odd detour into Space. Hell, you’re gonna go to Hell and back.

The Walking Dead

Clementine is back, this time shes joined by a brand new character called Javier who looks like he can hold his own in a fight (let's just hope he lasts better against the walkers because almost anyone in this series could end killed off).

Clem has also been through a lot since we left her at the end of Season Two... and depending on the paths players may have taken with her in the past, she may or may not be exactly the same person we knew back then. You'll play as both Javier and Clementine through the course of the season, but exactly how that works is one of the exciting details we're not quite yet ready to reveal.

The Walking Dead Season 3 is due out in the Autumn for PC, consoles and likely mobile devices too.

Vampyr

Vampyr, the new Action-RPG from acclaimed game-development studio Dontnod, explores protagonist Jonathan Reid's moral plight in the E3 trailer. Set in London, 1918, Vampyr promises to offer a unique and deeply immersive experience with a strong and engaging narrative steeped in vampire mythology.

The game includes a unique level-up system that plays on this narrative conundrum, where huge amounts of experience points can be gained by feeding on innocent people, compared to combat.

It's quite the departure from their last game Life is Strange so let's see how well the game is, Vampyr comes out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.

Watch Dogs 2

This time the action is shifting gears to San Fransisco with a new character called Marcus Holloway, a brilliant hacker who joins DedSec to take down a corrupted establishment.The next entry in the Watch Dogs franchise promises more control over hacking and even new toys for Marcus to use such as remote controlled drones and mass hacking on a grand scale. Ultimately one of the things limiting the original game was the lack of hacking and this time it seems to be bigger and better!

Yooka-Laylee

Fans of Banjo-Kazooie should be very happy as this game is a spiritual successor to those games with plenty of platforming, various lands and crazy enemies to deal with.

Yooka-Laylee was funded on Kickstarter in June 2015, raising an incredible £2.1 million from more than 80,000 backers. Yooka-Laylee remains the most funded UK games Kickstarter ever.

It was pushed back from it's original release date and will now be launching for PC and PS4 in Q1 2017.
