Pokémon Go Streamer Mugged while Streaming, caught on Video
When playing games in public it goes without saying be careful, especially when you're using your phone at night as there's no telling who could be lurking in the shadows and unfortunately Twitch Streamer Rickeybot has been mugged while streaming Pokémon Go live on his channel.
It all happened when he took his phone out to New York's Central Park, as he starts collecting Pokémon a mysterious guy walks up behind him and then attacks him, knocking him to the floor. He then struggled for a bit before the mugger fled with the phone, luckily though his face was captured in video so with any luck this should help the Police apprehend him.
However it wasn't all great news for Rickeybot who also had his channel suspended for 24 hours (due to not streaming a game), though I guess it's a minor thing compared to an attack which landed him in hospital and losing your phone.
