E3 2019: Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered comes to PC on September 20th
Go back to where it all began as the original Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is coming to PC later this year with a remaster on September 20th. This updated remaster will include everything that made the original game great, plus new visual enhancements to bring the world and characters to life. Join Oliver on a journey to another world in an attempt to bring his mother back after a terrible accident occurs. Travel to exotic lands and take on powerful foes as you overcome tough challenges that stand in your way.
The game originally launched back in 2013 for the PS3, and is now making the jump to PC for the first time allowing for higher resolutions and framerates. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered will run at 1080p 60 FPS on PS4, while a 4k 60 FPS experience is available on the PS4 Pro. It's unclear what the PC version will support but we'd imagine it'll be on par or higher than the PS4 version.
Bandai Namco Brand Manager, Randy Le explained a little about what makes the original Ni no Kuni a worthy choice to be remastered for modern systems:
“For those who missed this amazing adventure, or those who would like to feel the magic again, these two Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch releases represent the perfect opportunity to get lost in a world of wonder, danger, love, and friendship. A beautiful and compelling tale told by expert storytellers with a heartbreaking score, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch stands alongside the best games of the last generation. We’re excited to let gamers rediscover this rich world on modern systems.”
