No Man's Sky - New Relics update brings excavations, fossils and more
The latest Relics update for No Man's Sky has new features in store: fossil excavations, a brand new expedition and dangerous new enemies await you.
Collect and exhibit fossils
With the update for the space survival game No Man's Sky, ancient bones can be discovered on planets - from skulls and ribs to entire skeletons. These can be put together and displayed as collector's items in your own base or traded with merchants on space stations.
The new Relics Expedition invites you to reconstruct past creatures and uncover ancient secrets. Rewards include a skeletal companion, the Basilisk Crown Staff and the Living Stone Jetpack. But beware: some excavation sites are guarded by stone sentinels such as golems, ghosts and titan worms.
Further improvements for No Man's Sky
Abandoned Mode has also been revised: Abandoned space stations now have functional upgrade stations, and valuable treasures can be found in buried capsules.
The update is available now - time to unpack your shovel and go exploring!
