Onimusha: Way of the Sword - Trailer Features Yuriri Naka as the Oni Lady Telling Musashi's Story
In “Onimusha Curious Cases,” narrator Yuriri Naka, as the Oni Lady, tells the story of Miyamoto Musashi, perhaps the greatest master of the sword in history. Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be released on September 4 for PC.
With “Curious Cases: Miyamoto Musashi,” Capcom is adding a new video to the marketing campaign for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Instead of a traditional gameplay trailer, Yuriri Naka—voicing the Oni Lady—takes the lead in narrating the story, shedding light on the backgrounds and fates of the characters as well as the infamous Formidable Foes.
A character you’ll need to get to know. This time, the focus is on the protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi: a samurai who travels to Kyoto to prove himself as an unrivaled swordsman. However, his journey takes a surprising and rather mysterious turn, and the video drops a few hints about it without giving too much away.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an action-adventure game focused on thrilling sword combat. You’ll take on the role of Musashi and fight your way through a dark fantasy version of Edo-period Kyoto—and the story is sure to be a highlight as well.
The release date for PC has now been confirmed: Instead of September 25 as originally planned, Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be released on September 4, 2026.
