Free beer for everyone! Pioneers of Pagonia: Meadowsong DLC now features a new island, witches and more
The first major expansion for Pioneers of Pagonia is here: Meadowsong brings the new Meadowsong Island, six new building types, a sinister coven, beer and more to the building game.
Pioneers of Pagonia, the bustling building strategy hit from Settlers creator Volker Wertich under the Envision Entertainment banner, is getting its first major DLC today. Meadowsong – in German: Auensang – takes you to a new story island that was once known for its thriving agriculture and is now haunted by a dark force. The expansion is available now on Gamesplanet.
Wither, Witches and a Mysterious Cornucopia
The so-called Wither is spreading across Auensang: the soil is becoming unusable, plants are dying, rot wolves and rats are ravaging fields and villages, and infected residents are too weak to work. Your task is to find an antidote, contain the plague and defeat the coven of witches responsible. Each witch possesses unique abilities that will challenge your strategy. New additions to your repertoire include the Cornucopia, a building that grants valuable bonuses in exchange for offerings, as well as pets such as guard dogs and cats to watch over your fields. The new production chains centred on fruit growing, winemaking and animal husbandry significantly expand your economy. Those who prefer to build without a set storyline can also play the Wilting Challenge and the coven on procedurally generated maps. The ‘Free Beer Update’ is being rolled out free of charge to all players of Pioneers of Pagonia – even without the Meadowsong DLC.
