Prey - What is Prey?
Since E3 revealed a brand new Prey game would be created by Arkane Studios many have wondered exactly what it means for the franchise, is it a sequel, a prequel or a reboot?
“Prey is not a sequel, it’s not a remake, it has no tie with the original,” says Raphael Colantonio, president of Arkane Studios and creative director of Prey.
Prey is a reimagining of the IP, you're onboard a space station filled with aliens and you have to survive at any cost.
You'll play as Morgan Yu and can be either a Male or Female character depending on your preference. Choices you make will have consequences as you progress in the game (if you've played Dishonored it will feel somewhat like this). It's not a horror game but more like a hybrid narrative/action/role playing game with guns, but you'll also have access to other things like powers (sounds little bit like The Darkness II).
The game will be released on PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime in 2017.
