RAGE 2 Announced, first gameplay trailer coming tomorrow
Bethesda have announced a sequel to their 2011 action game as RAGE 2 is coming. First gameplay trailer coming tomorrow, May 15th.
Last week we heard rumours of a possible sequel to the 2011 action FPS RAGE as retailer Wallmart accidentally revealed a few games (including RAGE 2). While publisher Bethesda didn't confirm or deny it, their Twitter account was busy throwing fuel onto the speculation fire as they kept teasing whaat appeared to be RAGE 2. Today, the confirmation that the game is coming has been confirmed as the first announcement trailer for the game has been released.
RAGE 2 Announcement Trailer
This is just in time for E3 2018 which is only a few weeks away, so we'll be sure to see even more of the game in the next month. The teaser is only a brief glimpse at the sequel, which shows off some new characters and various types of weapons, plus a large focus on possibly co-op gameplay. Fans won't have long to wait to see more of the game as Bethesda have revealed that the first gameplay trailer is coming tomorrow (May 15th). Teases for the game have revealed a vibrant pink colour scheme, which is a stark contrast from the drab colours of the original.
The original game was released back in 2011 from the team at ID Software and was met with mixed reviews. In RAGE the world is set in a post apocalyptic future where an Asteroid has destroyed the Earth and the last survivors of humanity are scavenging resources in order to survive. This is not the only game to try an open world with this setting as Avalanche Studios tried their luck at bringing to life the world of Mad Max in 2015. Hopefully RAGE 2 can offer an exciting experience with a great open world for players to engage with.
No word on a release date as yet, but we'll hopefully get that news tomorrow when the gameplay trailer launches.
