Ranger's Path: National Park Simulator is a third-person simulation game in which you take on the role of a US park ranger. During the day, you clear hiking trails, repair signs and infrastructure, check admission tickets, and help visitors. In between, the control center radios you and you're on your way to the collapsed bridge after the last storm or searching for a missing hiker. The missions range from quiet park maintenance to quite tricky main tasks.
Explore and document the wilderness
Faremont National Park itself is inspired by real US national parks and features forests, meadows, river landscapes, lakes, caves, and waterfalls. Along the way, you'll encounter more than ten species of animals, from raccoons and rabbits to fallow deer, eagles, and bears. If you pull out your camera and photograph animals and plants, you'll unlock encyclopedia entries and add new exhibits to the park's museum.
The game is expected to remain in early access for around a year. Plans already include a park rating system, new vehicles and animal species, expanded interaction options, and additional call-out missions.
