The spiritual successor to Patapon is now available in early access!

Ratatan, developed by TVT Co. Ltd. and Ratata Arts, with Patapon series creator Hiroyuki Kotani at the helm, is now available to play.

Backed by a massive Kickstarter campaign (nearly 15,000 supporters and €1.3 million raised) and praised during its demo, Ratatan aims to reinvent the rhythm action game against a backdrop of community adventure.

In Ratatan, head to the lively island of Rataport, where your army of Ratatans dreams of reaching the Afterlife, guided by the drums of destiny. The game combines rhythmic controls inherited from Patapon, colorful art direction, and a “giant battle” spirit with more than 100 companions to manage, either solo or in co-op mode with up to 4 players. The levels, inspired by roguelikes, are procedurally generated and offer varied worlds ranging from mystical jungles to frozen plains.

Forget about classic controls: here, everything is about rhythm! To attack, defend, or launch special moves, you give musical commands to your army.
