11 Minutes of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Hands-on Preview Gameplay
Slice your foes with 11 Minutes of New Gameplay footage from the upcoming action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which is set to launch on March 22nd.
Later this month we can unleash our inner Samurai and become the one-armed wolf when Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches on March 22nd. Before that however, IGN has released some brand new gameplay footage for the upcoming title with 11 minutes of footage set in the Senpou Temple area. Unlike the Dark Souls series, Sekiro relies heavily on traversal and you'll be able to get around enviroements using your handy grapple to get the drop on foes from above. Swing from branches, climb rooftops and decide on the best way to approach encounters with a variety of tools at your diposal. And just like Dark Souls you can expect a huge open world filled with plenty of boss fights and secrets to discover.
Additionally, IGN have also shared their impressions on the upcoming title, with big changes from the Dark Souls series and how it differs from the standard formula with new combat mechanics and more. For example the game doesn't include a Stamina meter, so you're free to attack, roll and jump as much as you like. Keeping Balance in Sekiro will be the difference between life and death. Unlike Dark Souls the game also does not feature any customisable stats and crafting mechanics, but instead allows players to focus on the gameplay and acquiring new skills as they level up.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches later this month on March 22nd. You can pre-order the game from Gamesplanet to get a free Digital Artbook and Digital Mini Soundtrack when the game launches.
