Play the Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Demo Now & new remake gameplay footage!
Frogware's remake of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2023. Now you can try out the adventure game for yourself - a demo version is waiting for you on Steam.
Originally completed in 2006, Sherlock Holmes The Awakened will be released as a completely new remake by Frogwares for PC in early 2023. Based on the Unreal Engine 4, the Holmes adventure will be freshly spruced up with contemporary graphics and we can also expect clear improvements in terms of gameplay. To illustrate how the leap to the year 2023 has been achieved, the Ukrainian developer studio now shows us a new gameplay video, takes us through Victorian London in Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, through an "insane asylum" in the Swiss Alps, through New Orleans and Louisiana - and confronts you with a creepy cult that also drives Holmes to the edge of his mental capacities. It's all so freaky because the game serves up many Lovecraftian horror elements ice-cold.
Sherlock Holmes The Awakened - how to play the demo for free
An exact release date has not been set yet, but in the meantime Frogwares has already released a Steam demo as part of the Steam Next Fest. This means you can already try out the (limited) Holmes adventure on your own PC for free. But only for one and a half weeks, a part of the first chapter.
Test your detective skills and put your wits to the test - with the Steam demo available here. In addition, you will often find a button on our product pages to directly access demo versions. As seen here on the screenshot:
