The iconic ninja returns with the launch of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance - Launch Trailer

SEGA's bringing back it's classic ninja for the first time in over 10 years with the launch of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance on August 29th (or 26th with the Deluxe Edition). Check out the launch trailer!

The Shinobi series has been around since the late 80s, with the original game released all the way back in 1987 for Arcade (and later SEGA's Master System). Now after 37 years the series returns with the launch of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance on August 29th. This latest entry in the franchise is being created by the team at Lizardcube, who are best known for their other SEGA series revival: Streets of Rage 4. Players will control Joe Musashi as he uses his ninja abilities to battle through various stages and face off against bosses. Anyone familiar to the series will should expect a mix of classic platforming and parkour as you progress through the metroidvania world.
