SILENT HILL f - Everything you need to know!
Konami is on the road in Japan with its fog lights on and will be stopping on September 25 to drop off Silent Hill f (we're already delivering your Steam keys, by the way). What makes the new Silent Hill stand out, and what should you know now that it's being released? Here's an overview.
What is Silent Hill f?
The upcoming horror adventure Silent Hill f centers on schoolgirl Shimizu Hinako, whose everyday life in 1960s Japan is abruptly shattered. Hinako grows up in the secluded small town of Ebisugaoka, a place full of traditions and strict expectations. But behind the facade of family and school life, Hinako already leads a life marked by pressure and exclusion.
When the town is suddenly engulfed by an eerie fog, typical of a Silent Hill, her familiar surroundings are transformed into a surreal nightmare scenario: monstrous creatures roam the streets, people disappear, and the boundaries between reality and madness dissolve.
Hinako has no choice but to face this horror. Her mission is clear: survive. And that means much more than just escaping danger. She must uncover secrets, confront the manifestations of her fears, and make decisions that will irrevocably change her fate. Silent Hill f will be mysterious, presumably with more puzzles than physical confrontations. Much to the delight of horror adventure fans.
Silent Hill f combines classic psychological horror atmosphere with a very personal coming-of-age story: a young woman's struggle against external threats and internal demons that are inextricably intertwined.
Silent Hill f - Trailer Recap Playlist
Initial preview reports attest to the developer studio of Silent Hill f, NeoBards Entertainment, having special skills in working with the Unreal Engine. Despite its modern, attractive graphics, the game is said to run particularly smoothly, with almost no performance drops – even before the Day 1 patch. At least that's what the tech experts at Digital Foundry say. The Japanese setting is a matter of taste. However, the clean graphics and the eerie Silent Hill atmosphere are sure to captivate everyone. To illustrate this, we have put the best trailers and gameplay demos into a playlist (gameplay videos may contain spoilers).
