New video for Silent Hill: Townfall shows 18 minutes of spine-chilling gameplay
Silent Hill: Townfall – due for release on 24 September 2026 – has released over 18 minutes of fresh gameplay footage, offering the first detailed look at the mist-shrouded town of St. Amelia.
Konami and developer Screen Burn have released a new gameplay video for Silent Hill: Townfall. Over the course of more than 18 minutes, you follow protagonist Simon Ordell as he returns to the island of St. Amelia to settle some unfinished business. The video shows two connected sections: first, you explore the Shorefront region, including Zoe’s house, whilst the portable CRTV camera provides clues to help you progress. Later on, things take a sinister turn. With his pistol drawn, Simon enters the distorted Otherworld version of St. Amelia and searches a dilapidated tenement block there.
The video confirms the direction the series is taking with this spin-off: experienced entirely from a first-person perspective, with a focus on exploration, tactical evasion and sporadic combat. Silent Hill: Townfall is due for release on 24 September 2026 for PC.
