Space Hulk: Deathwing gets brand new screens, teases co-op!
The upcoming Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first person shooter with tactical elements set in Games Workshop's gritty Warhammer 40k Universe, powered by the Unreal 4 Engine. After a long development period there is light at the end of the tunnel as we approach the release, to celebrate Focus Home Interactive have released some brand new gameplay screens showing off the gorgeous game in all it's glory.
According to Focus Home the game will feature 5 classes, each with it's own unique abilities. The Librarian possesses psychic powers, while harnessing the hand-held ballistic anti-personnel Storm Bolter firearm. Heavy Weapon Support relies on assault cannons to best their Genestealer foes; while the Apothecary plays the medic role. Melee-Oriented Assault fighters go hands-on with assault claws, shields and power maces, and, lastly, Tactician Specialists can “support the team with a passive buff as well as other abilities, which is useful for controlling the swarms of Genestealers.” Naturally, success hinges on teamwork.
And just in case you missed the GamesCom Trailer with the Gameplay, that's been added below to get a better look at the game in motion. Space Hulk: Deathwing is being released in November for PC.
