Star Overdrive: The hoverboard odyssey begins on the PC - launch trailer

Star Overdrive by Dear Villagers is playable on PC! This open-world action-adventure game offers an unusual experience that blends hoverboard exploration, environmental puzzles and dynamic combat in a stylized SF universe.

An open world that you explore in Star Overdrive by gliding smoothly through it. You take on the role of Bios, who is hurled to the alien planet Cebete after intercepting a mysterious distress signal. Armed with your customizable hoverboard and a multifunctional keytar, you set off in search of your missing companion while uncovering the secrets of an ancient mining operation.

Locomotion is at the heart of Star Overdrive's gameplay: the game focuses on speed, trickery and freedom of movement, with varied biomes to traverse, platforming challenges and races against the clock. Exploration focuses on points of interest scattered across a map covering more than 100 km², which is designed like a huge, particularly colorful alien skate park.
