Though, there's no indication on Uplay that I have the gold edition. Did you send me the wrong key, or does Uplay just not show that it's gold?

Guys -- that's the usual way on how Uplay operates. The game shown is always the Standard Edition. All additional content will be displayed through the DLC tab or other means. It's a little confusing but no need to worry :)

does it somehow indicate that you have the gold version? mine is just saying steep with no way to tell that it is gold.

We'll send them out before launch probably if a preload happens we'll make sure you have time to download it early (though we don't know if a preload will happen).

Either way it's not long to wait :)

Uplay only, the only way to get it on Steam is via Steam itself.
