Kalypso Media brings out the tanks: With Sudden Strike 5, the publisher has now announced the latest instalment in the legendary series that has been synonymous with sophisticated tactics in the Second World War for decades. The first trailer provides initial impressions, even if real gameplay is still to come.

Many fans associate the Sudden Strike series with precise military tactics, large maps and intense battles in which every move counts. The new instalment aims to build on these strengths and develop them further. The trailer for Sudden Strike 5 already shows familiar scenarios such as destroyed cities, armoured formations and artillery fire, in keeping with the style of its predecessors.

With a 25-mission campaign, more than 300 playable units, customisable commanders and PvP battles, Sudden Strike 5 takes tactical war simulation to a new level.
