TEKKEN 8 revealed with a new 4k teaser trailer!
The clip packs a punch: Bandai Namco has released the first high-resolution trailer for Tekken 8, showing gameplay with stunning graphics.
Although Sony's "State of Play" showcase is almost all about the console, games like Tekken 8 will of course also be released for our PCs with the same or better graphics. Bandai Namco presented the sequel to the popular martial arts series with an impressive trailer. Tekken 8 is based on the Unreal Engine 5 and what can be done with it ... well, see for yourself:
Unfortunately, Bandai Namco has not yet come out with a release date for Tekken 8, but we hope for a release in 2023. It should be worth the wait, because never has a Tekken looked this good. According to the developer, the scenes shown here are more or less actual footage from the game, even though there are no status bars to be seen. The clip says: "Real-time rendered footage from a title in development. Some content may still change in the final product." So, sure, rendered, but also in real time. And the UE5 engine is quite capable of rendering such game graphics.
Of course, connoisseurs have recognised the pair that don't exactly teach each other the best manners in the first video for Tekken 8. Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima are standing here in the effects-rich rain, while lightning illuminates the scenery in the background over stormy seas. Tekken 8 continues the storyline of the series - here with the battle of father against son.
