The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered: Now with Chronological Mode

The new update offers a fresh narrative - perfect for the second playthrough.

New perspective

A free patch for The Last of Us 2 Remastered now adds the so-called Chronological Mode. In this variant, you don't experience the story with flashbacks and perspective changes as in the original, but in chronological order throughout - from the prologue to the end, without any time jumps.

The developers at Naughty Dog recommend this mode above all to players who already know the game. It makes it easier to understand new connections, emotional developments and character parallels, especially when playing through the game again.

Finally, there are two bonus outfits - as a small tribute to Naughty Dog's 40th studio anniversary. The update also brings new trophies and various technical improvements.
