Sharpen your weapon with The Lords of the Fallen Gameplay Trailer and October release date!
Is it Dark Souls 4? Elden Ring 2? No, it's the new The Lords of the Fallen to be released on October 13th 2023. The first gameplay video is now here and we are excited. You too?
Some "Soulslikes" are really similar to Dark Souls. In the case of The Lords of the Fallen, the remake of the 2014 classic, which will be brought to the world by publisher CI Games on October 13th 2023, you almost have to wonder if From Software itself had a hand in it. But no, the new The Lords of the Fallen comes from CI Games developer studio Hexworks. And now please take a look at the freshly released trailer for the game, which shows not only cutscenes, but also many gameplay scenes. And it's set to the music of Iron Maiden.
Bombastic graphics! And the fights seem to have real steam - you can feel the force of the weapons just by looking at them. The art design, i.e. the world, the characters and the fights, bring back memories of Elden Ring. That can't be wrong. Is The Lords of the Fallen therefore a banal copy? Probably not, because the original Lords of the Fallen already had enough independence and ideas, even if the battles weren't quite as challenging as in Dark Souls. We have every confidence that CI Games/Hexworks will land a big hit with the remake.
CI Games promises a huge world for the dark fantasy RPG, which will definitely be much larger than in the original. As a Dark Crusader, you set out to destroy the Demon God Adyr in The Lords of the Fallen, travelling through the realms of the living and the dead. Both worlds seem to be interconnected in the game. Expect crunchy boss fights, imaginatively designed characters and an epic world in this action RPG.
Lords of the Fallen launches on October 13th 2023 and will soon be available on Gamesplanet to pre-order.
