“The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu” Invites Players on a Treasure Hunt Starting Now — Lovecraftian Horror Adventure Begins

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is now available. With a launch trailer, publisher Nacon has kicked off the treasure hunt for up to 4 players in the Lovecraft universe. Just don’t lose your mind in the jungle!

Developer ACE Team has completed its Lovecraft project: The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is now here, aimed primarily at team players. This co-op horror game for up to four players sends you as an expedition team into an enchanted jungle where legendary treasures beckon—and madness lurks.

Your Own Mind Is the Final Boss

Team up with your teammates in online co-op to take on the role of treasure hunters venturing deep into a cursed wilderness. The tricky part: There are no UI indicators to warn you when your perception starts to falter. You’ll have to work as a team to figure out whether a threat is real or just your imagination—communication is a must here, not an option.

At launch, you’ll also get the free bonus mission “Temple of Yig,” which must be manually redeemed via the Steam store page after activating your Steam key. If you buy the game within the first two weeks, you’ll also get the Lost Explorers’ Swords Pack for free. For those who want the full package, there’s also a Deluxe Edition that includes the soundtrack and the Characters & Items Pack —which is also available separately.
