Danger lurks around every corner with the upcoming release of The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a new 1-4 player co-op horror game arriving on July 15th. Players will need to work together in order to survive, gather treasure and locate "The Mound" - a place rumoured to hold treasures beyond imagination. But in order to reach that you'll have to face unspeakable horrors and question your sanity.
Of course being a Lovecraftian game you need to keep your insanity at bay, as reality breaks tries to break you. It's not only creatures that you need to fear, but you're mind. Prepare for missions aboard the Galleon, a safe space that you can pick up missions, equip supplies and sign contracts in order to best the madness that awaits you in the jungles.

In the cursed and hostile jungle, danger lurks around every corner. Lovecraftian horrors warp reality as madness closes in, while you explore ever deeper in search of infinite riches buried within The Mound.
MADNESS SYSTEM AND ALTERED PERCEPTION
Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft‘s oppressive atmospheres, the game features a deep madness system that makes the cursed jungle play with your perception. Unpredictable threats distort your senses, blur the line between reality and illusion, and sow paranoia within your group. Soon you can no longer trust what you see and what you hear.
AN EXPEDITION INTO THE UNKNOWN
Aboard the galleon, prepare for your next expedition. Sign a contract with the captain to receive gear in exchange for the treasures you bring back, split weapons and equipment among your party, and choose which area of the jungle to explore next. The further you venture, the greater the dangers you will face. The cursed jungle does not only breed the strangest of creatures. Something is also playing with your mind over there.
IN SEARCH OF THE MOUND
Once on the mainland, you are on your own, relying on spatialized voice chat to coordinate against unpredictable threats and gather what riches you can. Discover abandoned forts during your expedition and recover their logbooks to unlock them as new starting point for future expeditions. Venture ever deeper in the cursed jungle in search of The Mound, rumored to hold treasures beyond imagination.
