In this new video, Owlcat Games offers a glimpse into the investigative mechanics of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy. In this Warhammer role-playing game – for which there is as yet no specific release date – you interrogate suspects, gather clues, cross-check statements and piece your findings together to form a complete picture. The catch: in the end, the truth may not matter, because when in doubt, anyone can be made to confess. It’s entirely up to you who you send to the block.

This story-driven cRPG is set in the grim Warhammer 40,000 universe. In Dark Heresy, you take on the role of an Inquisitor in the Calixis Sector, lead a motley crew and hunt down heretics. Every decision has consequences, justice is in short supply, and the Inquisition reveals its ugly side, complete with bureaucracy and internal power struggles.
