Space Marine 2: Patch 3.0 brings major improvements including ultrawide support
The highly anticipated Patch 3.0 for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is finally here, bringing a host of new features and improvements. Here's an overview of the most significant changes.
Ultrawide Support for PC
PC players can now fully enjoy their ultrawide monitors, delivering a more immersive visual experience.
Battlebarge Training Arena
A new area called the "Hub Sparring Arena" has been added to the Battlebarge. Accessible from the Launch Bay in Operations or Eternal War mode, this arena allows players to engage in friendly PvP battles with their squad before missions.
Private Mode for Operations
It’s now possible to play Operations solo with bots or with a friend, without being matched with other players.
Gameplay Adjustments
- Reduced enemy aggression in Veteran difficulty for a better solo experience
- Improved ally AI to make them more useful and effective
- Rebalanced enemies in Operations mode
- Improved jetpack jump responsiveness
- Rebalancing of several weapons and abilities
Other Quality-of-Life Improvements:
- Added "What's New" and "Message of the Day" features
- Fixed save issues
- Fixed numerous progression bugs
- Added the ability to reset custom color settings
- Added a new color pattern called the "Greaves Pattern"
