New Trygon update for Space Marine 2 brings boss battles, PvP lobbies and fresh legions
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is not standing still - with the new Trygon update, Focus Entertainment are really stepping up their game. PvE fans, PvP warriors and customisation enthusiasts can look forward to the following changes.
The update delivers a new PvE mission in which you will have to deal with the fearsome Trygon. This new boss enemy burrows underground, surprises with fast attacks and demands your full attention. A new secondary weapon has also been introduced: the Inferno Pistol, which is particularly effective against armoured enemies.
In addition to the mission, the update also brings numerous improvements for Space Marine 2. The colour customisation of your clothing, crests and hoods has been revised so that you can personalise your Space Marine.
The weapon perk system has also been adjusted so that your equipment has a more noticeable effect on your play style. There are also small but sensible interface improvements.
PvP mode now with Customs
Those who prefer PvP can also look forward to a customised lobby for the Eternal War mode. Up to twelve players can create their own matches with customisable rules. Ideal for clans or training rounds.
Two new cosmetic packs have also been added: The Space Wolves Pack contains skins, weapon designs and colours in the style of the Space Wolves, while the Imperial Fists Pack includes a champion skin for the tactical class and a special Plasma Incinerator skin, among other things.
The Trygon update has been available to all players since April 15th. Curious? Then watch the trailer here
