Windblown devs update community on the progress of Alpha tests
Motion Twin, known for Dead Cells one of the most appreciated roguelikes have shared a short video update on the progress of their Alpha test for their upcoming game Windblown.
As they mention in the video Motion Twin tried to make most of the tests and listened to their testers' feedback. Things they did like, things they didn't like and what they'd like to see changed. Thanks to that feedback Windblown is definitely growing as the gifting system in the game went complete overhaul. Over 50 new gifts have been added with a ton of new builds and variety to each run.
It was reported that the combat system feels quick and snappy as movement and combat is vital to the gameplay flow this is a good news. Testers requested more multiplayer features and ways to communicate with their friends in-game - this has been acknowledged and will be address by the devs. On a final note of the video Motion Twin reminds that the closed Alpha tests for Windblown are nearly over but this sort of workflow (where they communicate with gamers and implement changes accordingly to the feedback) will follow in Early Access for the game.
