ZONE OF THE ENDERS: THE 2ND RUNNER - M∀RS coming September 4th

High speed mech action awaits in the upcoming Zone of the Enders 2 remaster which is launching on September 6th. Includes support for 4k resolutions and VR headsets.

Recently we learned of a remastered version of Konami's Mech Action game Zone of the Enders 2, and now we've got a release date for the game (known as ZONE OF THE ENDERS: THE 2ND RUNNER - M∀RS) which is arriving on PS4 and PC on September 4th. This marks the first time the franchise has been on PC and will support higher resolutions, VR and more.

This updated version of the game will be playable in 4k and even VR (for those with the hardware), it'll also feature a complete tutorial for newcomers, a theatre to show off the cinematics of the game, a model viewer and much more. For those who have never played the series before they are making this a little easier with improved control methods that give you greater control over the action. The game will also include extra VR additions for those playing in VR.

The game takes place 2 years after the original Zone of the Enders, with players once again taking control of the "Orbital Frame" Jehuty. Players are given various missions and can pick objects within the levels to use as weapons, or collect sub weapons by defeating various bosses in the game. Depending on your progression you will also be able to change the abilities of Jehuty as you level up by destroying enemies.
