We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We’ve created a house of cards: remove just one, and everything falls apart.
Black Friday – a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.
When society falls, we rise.
Features
TAKE BACK NEW YORK
Welcome to a next-gen experience in a persistent and dynamic open world environment that is built from the ground up for co-op and where exploration and player progression are essential. Teaming up with other Division agents, your mission is to restore order, investigate the source of the virus, and take back New York.
A LIVING, BREATHING WORLD
Enter a universe where time of day and weather conditions impact your gaming experience. Use the environment for strategic advantage to dominate fights and ambush your enemies. Utilize your gas mask to provide protection from the virus, and upgrade it to enter the most highly contaminated areas.
URBAN JUNGLE
New York City is being overrun by hostile groups trying to take advantage of the crisis. Beware of the thugs who roam in packs through the city, preying on the weak. Fight against the Cleaners, who wear hazmat suits and wield flame throwers, set on cleaning New York from the virus by burning everything and everyone. Engage with the Rikers, a gang of convicts that escaped Rikers Island when the chaos hit, and who are ravaging the city and vying for its control.
GEAR UP AND CUSTOMIZE YOUR AGENT
Harness state-of-the-art technology, both networked and prototype, as a member of The Division. Customize your character and your backpack, your lifeline in mid-crisis New York. Communicate with other agents at all times with your smartwatch. Loot fallen enemies and customize and level up your weapons, gear, and skills.
CUTTING-EDGE TECH
Choose and upgrade your skills, and synergize with your teammates to increase your chances of winning in combat. Switch your skills such as the seeker mine that finds your enemy and explodes; the turret that triggers high-octane and efficient diversion; or the pulse that gives you a tactical read on your environment. Use the ECHO tech, a data collection tool that renders moments frozen in time, to learn valuable information about your immediate environment and find hidden loot, and help uncover the truth behind the pandemic.
SEAMLESS MULTIPLAYER: THE DARK ZONE
Enter the Dark Zone, a walled-off quarantine zone in the middle of Manhattan where the most valuable loot was left behind when the military evacuated. It’s also the most dangerous area in the game, where fear, betrayal, and tensions are high. Team up with other players to take down your enemies and extract legendary loot via helicopter. It’s your choice to collaborate with other agents, or attack them and steal their loot.
SNOWDROP™ ENGINE
Powered by the fully next-gen Snowdrop engine, Tom Clancy’s The Division™ sets a new bar in video game realism and open world rendering. Experience a chaotic and devastated New York like you’ve never seen before.

Forgive me for my fishy behavouir. The fault was my own for not checking if this deal would last but just to assume it would, since 99% of our pre order deals last until launch. I told you all that I thought the deal would last, but unfortunately it did not. As to the other fishy behavoiur of not notifiyng you when we adapt our price to the market slightly. Perhaps next time we can put up a warning with a 7 day count down, but I suppose the market prices may have shifted again by then. hmmm what to do in this case? Oh yes the additional 5% from joining our Steam group could be an option, but then again it might be a bit too fishy. Up to you I guess ;)
replyThanks for the great drama people, better than most tv shows, keep on going please, (grabs popcorn)
replyI said I was keeping a tab on this to see what happens because I felt it was fishy at such a great deal. And I was right I guess. It takes a few minutes to come refresh this page so it's no big deal either.
And no thanks, mom.
replySilk: For never having any intention of purchasing from here, you sure are spending a lot of time and energy to throw a fit.
With that being said, please don't give us another thesis-length retort as to why we're stupid and don't "understand you".
Just take a deep breath, and move on. I'm sure you can find other things which you have an actual interest in to complain about.
replysmh it's like talking to a brick wall lmfao money is not the issue idiot,
replyI'd spend $150+ for gold though uplay or steam straight up rather than here is my point.
You're talking about a difference of literally $3.78 USD.......... ..
You would pay more than that for expedited shipping. And by joining their steam group, you get an additional 5% discount on your purchase. (So really it's gone from 35% to 30% discount.)
Don't be indecisive and wait until it's 20%... or 10%... Cause then you'll be really butthurt.
replyIt's clear you braindead children do not understand my point, the discount is of no importance to me, it's the fact they lied and gave no notice that it was going to happen either. Who knows what else this company lies about.. They keep their team members out of the loop, so that they inform us with incorrect information. To be completely honest I was never going to even buy from here, was just keeping a tab of it since it had such a good discount compared to anywhere else and it was kind of fishy, and now I'm just pointing out you'd be a fool to trust a company who does things like this. Just saying.
If I REALLY cared about saving money on this game I'd still buy from here, yes it's still a great deal, but I WILL NOT buy from a company that's seems to be fishy and then blatantly lies to the community and changes shit without any announcements.. the community had to itself say WTF 25%now??? to get anyone to say something about the change.. pathetic..
