What is Borderlands 4

Borderlands 4 is the new instalment in the phenomenal shoot-and-loot series. Imagine Diablo's character development system adapted to a shooter game, set in a sci-fi world with dark humour. Head to Kairos in this new instalment, where you take control of one of the new Vault Hunters, each with unique skills and redesigned talent trees.

Ever more explosive looter-shooter gameplay

Borderlands 4 takes the concept to the extreme with even more outrageous weapons and equipment. Of course, the original formula is still there: frenetic gunfights, loot galore, skill combos and devastating humour, but the game is enhanced with revamped co-op gameplay mechanics, allowing for deeper synergies between players. On the exploration side, each environment offers dynamic events, secondary dungeons and co-op puzzles to enhance this game mode. The interface has also been redesigned to accommodate extreme character customisation and build management. Several new endgame modes promise to keep the community on the edge of their seats, including new raids and competitive challenges to earn exclusive loot.
