I've been spoiling myself watching japanese streamers paying the game on PS4 for hours but at least I got to confirm that the game's PvE elements are great and dare I say - it's better than the first Dark Souls. I'm not spoiling anything but I want to say a few things. Early bossfights don't seem too challenging for a veteran but the difficulty ramps up and some enemies and bosses start hitting really hard. One "cloudy" bossfight is the best looking Souls series bossfight I've witnessed so far and you will probably know which one I mean when you get to see it or play it in the game eventually. Excellent sound effects especially for enemies and great level design.
Can't say anything about PvP yet since it's way too early for that. But PvE is rock solid like Havel's armor. Eagerly waiting for my chance to play the game on PC (my first order on GamesPlanet and a deluxe pre-order version at that). Might play through the first DaS again while I wait.
