I'm sorry but you are misreading what the pass is, when it says "at a discounted price" it means if you purchase the DLC's separately you'll have to pay more and by purchasing the Season Pass it will save you money.

There is nothing wrong with what we have, you are however not understanding this.

To backup our claims it takes a quick google search to prove that it comes as part of the Season Pass -

So I do not fully understand where you are getting this concept of paying for the content again after you purchase it. The Season Pass contains this DLC and one unannounced pack which will be released later.

@CraigB

Thank you for literally confirming what i have been saying from the beginning. "So I do not fully understand where you are getting this concept of paying for the content again after you purchase it" I do not understand why you took what i said as paying for the DLCs twice. I understand my english is flawed but still?

Let me explain again how this season pass works.

  1. You buy the pass.
  2. It covers two upcoming DLCs.
  3. The pass gives you a discount to both DLCs. Repeat DISCOUNT to both DLCs.

That's how this pass works. You don't get the DLCs for free from owning the pass. Why is that so difficult to understand? I literally gave both of you the sources that literally states this very fact. As i mentioned in my earlier comment i told both of you that a season pass can be anything and everything, not every season pass gives you DLCs for free which in this case is exactly the case. It does not give you the DLCs for free. Let me quote your update post again.

"It will be included in the Season Pass for FREE or you can purchase it separately." This is wrong. That is incorrect. The pass does NOT give you the DLCs for free. It gives you a DISCOUNT to both DLCs. I also want to point out that all the links you gave are to articles created by the community and what that means is that it's not official information. Here is the official information of the season pass.
http://www.gamestop.com/ps4/season-passes/dark-souls-iii-season-pass/128913
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/dark-souls-iii-season-pass/c1j39gnkp73l
http://store.steampowered.com/app/442010/

Read what it says. Read it very intently. It says discount, not free. There is a clear difference. If both of you still do not understand i will give another example. Let's say i want to buy the upcoming DLC. The DLC costs 14.99 Euro but i know i want the second DLC too and this season pass covers both so why not get the season pass right? I buy the pass and it gives me a 50% discount for the DLC. I buy the DLC for the discounted price the pass gave me for it. NOTE: I still had to buy the DLC even though i had bought the season pass, the pass did not contain the DLC for free.

Understand now? I'm not saying you need to buy the DLCs twice, I'm simply saying that if you attain the season pass you get a discount for the DLCs, you end up paying less but you still have to pay for the DLCs nontheless, you can't get them for free. The pass does not give you them for free. Lastly once again your update post STATES that this season pass contain the upcoming DLCs for free so when they release the DLCs the pass would let you get the DLCs for free or you can ignore the pass and not get that effect from it and buy the DLCs at a price. That is incorrect information. It is literally wrong. Even your own page about this pass states EXACTLY what i have been explaining about. I have given you the correct information about what kind of season pass this is. The update post is not the correct information about what the season pass is and what benefits it gives you. One last repeat. The pass does not give you the DLCs for free, it only gives you a discount for both DLCs. You still need to buy the DLCs and you can't get them for free. In other words. The season pass contains a discount for the DLCs, it does not contain the actual DLCs which means that if you buy the pass you will not get the DLCs for free, only a discount for them.

I have made myself as clear as possible and given you the official information about the season pass. There should be zero missunderstandings now.

Edit: I should mention that i do understand how difficult it is to accept the fact that this season pass is a ripoff. The only way for this pass to be worth it if it gave you the DLCs for free. Both DLCs will cost 14.99 Euro assuming the second one costs the same which means you get a profit of 5 Euro roundup since the pass costs 24.99 Euro but you don't get them for free. The pass does not include the DLCs, it COVERS them with a included DISCOUNT. It isn't easy to believe that game publishers do this but know that this is normal. Many people have exploited season passes mainly because it can be anything and everything. It has happened many times. Dark Souls III is just one of many games with season pass scams.

One last thing. I think i understand why both of you don't understand. You think that the word "discount" implies that the season pass is the combined cost for both DLCs but at a cheaper price so by buying the pass you think you bought both DLCs. That is not correct. The word "discount" applies to the DLCs directly and not the season pass. The pass includes this discount. If their wording is incorrect and it does in fact include both DLCs for free then great! I'm happy to be wrong but as it looks right now that's not the case as i have explained several times. Trust me i understand both sides however when the official information states that the season pass gives you the DLCs at a discounted price and not stating it includes the DLCs for free then i will simply lean toward the more correct understanding of it.

This is from Deus Ex season pass "The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Season Pass, which is composed of Narrative DLCs and in-game items, is loaded with content that will help to further flesh out the lore of the Deus Ex Universe. Here is what it contains: " This says that the season pass includes all these things for free. Obviously you pay for the pass but that's not what i mean by free. It includes all these things and you get the DLC for free. The Dark Souls III pass does not state the same. If you still lean towards the first understanding we just have to agree to disagree then until the DLC is released, just wanna mention that a friend of mine who do own the season pass has not got the DLC, it's still saying he doesn't own the DLC which leans towards the latter understanding. If it's the first understanding then perhaps the pass will give the DLC to him when it's released? But the question remains, why doesn't he own the DLC now from the pass? The description of the pass states the latter too. Again agree to disagree until proven on release.

@Sentimental Match

The wording mentioned on those sites, also Steam, also our page is not 100% clear -- true. It's the the official wording provided by the publisher.

As we're working direclty with Bandai Namco, be sure we know what we're selling here. The "discount" refers to the fact that the Season Pass (which will include the DLC for free) is cheaper than purchsing the DLC separatly, thus it is "at a discounted price".

Either way, I guess we can stop this conversation now.
