Destiny 2 (+ Forsaken) Regional Restrictions (Activation through Battle.net)

Destiny 2 has region restrictions applied and can ONLY be activated from specific countries!
The following restrictions also apply to Destiny 2 Forsaken.

If you are located in one of the below countries, ACTIVATION WILL WORK for you:

Aland Islands, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), Faroe Islands, Finland, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Martinique, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Caledonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City

Once activated, the game can be played worldwide, without any restrictions.

You would need to have a European account and be located in one of the countries above for it to activate.

Region lock only applies when activating. If you're in another country after then that'll still work for you.

Ok, so it will not activate with my EU account in Australia. Would a vpn to the uk bypass this?

I had the same question as I just bought it without noticing the lock then saw this list :(

Seems that a VPN should work though according to reddit. I am located in the US and jumped on this deal before reading but visiting a few places pointed to that working as long as you have a European account. I don't have a European account though.
