Destiny 2 (+ Forsaken) Regional Restrictions (Activation through Battle.net)

Destiny 2 has region restrictions applied and can ONLY be activated from specific countries!
The following restrictions also apply to Destiny 2 Forsaken.

If you are located in one of the below countries, ACTIVATION WILL WORK for you:

Aland Islands, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), Faroe Islands, Finland, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Martinique, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Caledonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City

Once activated, the game can be played worldwide, without any restrictions.

Hi, I am not a 100% sure, but I guess you could use a VPN to create an European Blizzard account and activate the key. But I am pretty sure, this would violate the TOS of Blizzard and we generally don't advise customers to use VPNs.

Wait. I bought this because the description said if I'm located in a European country, "Activation will work for me". But what you just said is that I need a European Blizzard account. That's not the same thing.

I am a Canadian with a Canadian Battle.net account but now live in the UK. Does that mean my D2 Digital Deluxe won't activate with my account?

It does not matter, Battle Net accounts are worldwide - certain games (WOW for example) will be region locked to a specific region and will require you to purchase it again if you want to swap. Overwatch, Diablo etc allow region swapping.

As long as you're in Europe you can activate it and play it without issues :)

@CraigB Hi, so i have an issue similar to Macabre Slave above, the difference is i have an Brazilian account instead of a canadian one, so from what you commented i'm not really sure if i do or do not need another account to activate the game (i'm curently on the UK)

You need a European account to activate the game.

Thanks! I'll just grab it from a location where I wont have to deal with this issue. The few dollars isn't worth the hassle or unknown.
