New trailer for Elden Ring: Nightreign introduces the powerful Raider class

A fresh trailer for Elden Ring: Nightreign reveals another playable class for the upcoming multiplayer title - the Raider. This mighty warrior class relies on brute force, heavy armour and primal earth magic. Armed with a gigantic axe and a distinctive horned helmet, the Raider brings down his enemies with brutal force.

Brutal, heavily armoured and with earth in its blood. Having previously introduced classes from Elden Ring: Nightreign, such as the precise marksman Ironeye and the nimble Duchess, the Raider is now revealed in all its glory - and it packs a punch. With its massive stature, thick armour and unyielding fighting style, it relies on the strength attribute. His axe attacks are not only powerful, they are also likely to cause enormous damage.

The trailer also suggests that the raider has special moves such as a stomping or jumping attack. In a defensive mode, it can apparently absorb enemy hits and counter them directly with a brutal headbutt.

But his ability to summon stone pillars from the ground is particularly striking. This could be an intentional tactical tool to create cover or to fight in an elevated position in battle. You can see it visualised here in the video
