Is this for uplay or for steam?

It activates for the Uplay version of the game.

Thats good to know,im thinking of buying it again,as my steam version no longer works in the multiplayer?its affected quite a few players too.This still works right in Multiplayer once key is entered into Uplay(Not steam)?

We have no indication it wouldn't work for multiplayer through Uplay. If that would be the case, we'd refund you – as I assume you're looking for that, right?
