Farming Simulator 25 coming November 12th, pre-order now live!
Rice is now being served: GIANTS Software has announced Farming Simulator 25 for a release on November 12th 2024 with a trailer - and new content too.
The team at GIANTS Software has been working for around three years on the development of the successor to Farming Simulator 22, which was released in 2021: The new offshoot of the series, Farming Simulator 25, should be ready for launch by the end of this year with a release date of November 12th. Good news for all virtual farmers who are longing for variety and innovation, perhaps including new types of fruit. But the new trailer for Farming Simulator 25 also has a catch: unfortunately, it does not yet show any gameplay scenes. Watch the video for yourself here:
Hints of fresh content in Farming Simulator 25
We see beautiful CGI graphics under the title "The future of Farming Simulator". But what information can we glean from the first trailer? Among other things, it is now clear that FS25 will enable rice cultivation with fresh water. Naturally, there will also be matching, originally licensed equipment for growing and harvesting the grain. Our product page for Farming Simulator 25 (now available for pre-order on Gamesplanet) - makes some things clear in the description: new machines and functions, graphical improvements and, for example, the cultivation of rice plants are intended to expand the scope and versatility of the series sequel.
If rice comes into play, this indicates a new map in Asian climes. And indeed, the description for Farming Simulator 25 states that we can look forward to maps in "Far Eastern landscapes", North America and also a usable patch of land in Central Europe, complete with pretty lakes and rivers. This promises plenty of variety. Developer GIANTS has announced two types of rice, as well as new crops and animals. Spinach joins the selection of 20 crops. This is also new in Farming Simulator 25: Imposing bison will soon be grunting alongside your sheep, pigs and horses.
More crops, animals, maps, production chains and orders - and also more machines from more than 150 international brands. This means that the machine fleet will grow to more than 400. With the many machines from manufacturers such as John Deere, Kubota, Fendt and CLAAS, the new Farming Simulator remains unbeaten in terms of scope. Under the bonnet of FS25, the GIANTS Engine 10 is hard at work to provide updated graphics and physics effects. Advantages include more authentic shadows, dynamic weather events, the depiction of distant fog and the credible representation of soil conditions.
