no beta

i bought the game been told i could play beta. atm i cannot. whats wrong?

I got the activation code, donwloaded the game without any troubles - but when i try to play the game, there comes a pop up bar from Steam saying "cannot start the game (unknown error)"
I have tried restarting steam, re-installed the game, repaired the files etc - nothing seems to be working...

Anyone experinced the same or know what to do?

It's a Steam issue, they are aware and it should hopefully be resolved soon - https://steamcommunity.com/app/1904540/discussions/1/3487500856963773002/?ctp=3#c3487500856963818720

Happens to all games - not just FM23.

stuck on the "starting Download" and then connection time out

Seems the Steam servers are overloaded right now, sorry about that it's not something we have control over. Would try in a little it'll work eventually.

Its affecting all the games that require download. nothing to do with the purchase key. As soon as servers are back it will work, as always :-)

You can play the beta, just restart Steam. It's also possible you may have to wait for the Steam servers to fix themselves - but try in a little and it should be fine.
