hey guys, if this is activated in my european account can it be played by my gf in us? or it also doesnt allow playing? thanks :)
replyIt's only activation, you can play that wherever :)
replyI contacted support but you guys said it WILL NOT work in the US??? Which is true? Something about you guys buying keys directly for ubisoft and they made these keys specifically only for EU use and such not including the US.
replyHi Reaper, There is an activation lock on these keys, you can not activate it from the US. Once activated you can of course go where you like to play the game. Would be a bit rubbish if you moved home only to find none of you games work :p
replyFrom my understanding I would only be able to play it on an EU IP and have to play on Europe servers? Didnt think it was just a region activation lock.
So you're saying I can play normally on US servers, but I will be required to us a EU VPN just to activate it and after activation I can play on my normal IP?
replyThat won't be the case. Also this game won't have servers like that. It will use peer to peer technology ?
replyAhh okay. So I do just have to activate on a Europe VPN and then I can play normally on my US stuff.
