SO CLOSE to buying this, until I saw it was the Uplay Key. Was hoping for the Steam Key - glad I noticed in advance! Good price for somebody who's okay with Uplay. :)
replyHonestly I think the Steam/Uplay thing gets taken a little bit too far, there is nothing wrong with it really. It's just another client, at the end of the day it's fine (and it's improved since it first came out).
Sadly the only place you'll get a Steam version of a Uplay game is Steam itself.
replyIf you buy a Uplay game on Steam, then it will install Uplay together with the game. When you start the game, it will start Uplay, then the game itself and everything will behave oddly.
replyI have returned Far Cry 4 because of it, and bought here for Uplay directly.
Uplay work fine on its own.
