Graphics Comparison: Dawn of War 3 - Low and Max Settings in 4K resolution
Graphics Comparison with Dawn of War 3 in 4K at PixelPerfect
We've already had a a 1080p graphics comparison with Dawn of War 3 and the differences between each setting was only marginal. How does the real-time strategy game look at 4K resolution? Our Graphic Comparison will compare the Low and Max-Settings.
Recently we did a comparison on the game on Full HD quality (1920x1080), trying to work out if there are any differences between the settings at all. While differences do exist, it's a little hard to tell from the 1080 visuals so we've tested Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3 in a crisp 4K resolution to put the game to the ultimate test! There is a slight increase in the details of the units, but the most striking difference comes from the soil textures and the surrounding graphics. Look at the 4K video on PixelPerfect and make a judgment yourself. If you're still waiting for our Graphics Comparison on Prey, you will not have to wait long as that's coming very soon and we'll be testing it on the Official Prey PC from Caseking. Anyone who thought that an AMD card would struggle aboard the Talos I Space Station would be wrong, as the game is otpimized for AMD hardware.
Note: The game will look better on your hardware than YouTube. Due to the way compression is handled, some videos will have reduced quality. In our recordings for our PixelPerfect channel, we take care to record as much as possible without quality loss. For the video cut, the professionals from our partner Caseking are responsible.
PixelPerfect is a community project of Caseking, Overclockers UK and Gamesplanet. We supply the Games - Caseking the hardware (Overclockers UK is a hardware supplier from England). The recordings for Dawn of War 3 have been made with a GTX 1080 graphics card, at 60 FPS and 4K resolution (UHD).
