Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus - 24 Minutes of Gameplay from the first mission
BJ Blazkowicz heads back to American in the upcoming action FPS sequel Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, take a look at 24 minutes of gameplay footage from the opening level.
It's been 3 years since Wolfenstein: The New Order arrived and on October 27th the next entry in the series will launch when Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus blasts onto our screens. This time around BJ Blazkowicz will be heading home to America, where the Nazi terror has spread to the west. It will be up to the resistance and BJ to stop them by any means possible. Armed with various weapons (including many that can be dual-wielded) you will be tested in some heart pounding action sequences that could be ripped straight from a movie.
In case you have not yet played the previous game, we may suggest caution with checking out the footage as it may contain spoilers from New Order that players may wish to experience for themselves!
SPOILERS MAY BE PRESENT!
GameSpot have managed to get their hands on footage from the opening level for the game, which sees BJ Blazkowicz waking up aboard a captured Nazi U-Boat. As the game takes place directly after Wolfenstein: The New Order, he will have to get used to movements in a wheelchair (at least for this level).
As with the first game we can expect to see various levels set within America (and possibly elsewhere) as BJ Blazkowicz tackles the Nazi threat from destroying the home he loves, and while also trying to keep his pregnant partner Anya (who is expecting Twins) safe. Who will be caught in the crossfire between the rising power and the resistance? Many faces are set to return from the first game and the menacing Frau Engel is going to be the main villain this time around, with her daughter Sigrun also being introduced into the story.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is out on October 27th and you can pre-order the game right now!
