22 Minutes of New Orleans Gameplay for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
Bethesda cranks up the action in the shooter sequel Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus as BJ Blazkowicz takes on the Nazi war machine in New Orleans, with 22 minutes of new gameplay.
Just over a month left until we get the sequel to the 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order when Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus launches on October 27th. While we wait patiently to get our hands on the shooter, Bethesda have released some new developer gameplay footage that sees our hero BJ Blazkowicz fighting through the streets of the US city of New Orleans. In this gameplay video it's up BJ to rescue the Resistance Leader Horton Boone so he can take back the city from the Nazis, and like the original game you can expect a number of guns at your disposal - each with their own set of upgrades.
Note: Spoilers may be present, if you prefer to keep things fresh it might be best to avoid watching.

If that wasn't enough we're given a glimpse at one of the Panzerhund featured in the game, Godzilla would be jealous of these fire breathing robotic creations. Contraptions are also new for the sequel and allow BJ to take on enemies and get around the level in different ways, for example The Ram Shackles will allow him to ram into walls (and enemies). The Battle Walker will allow him to gain new heights to get access to higher up areas, and the Constrictor Harness can let him get into tight spaces such as vents.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus arrives on October 27th, you can pre-order either the Standard or Deluxe right now. Each pre-order will come with The Freedom Chronicles: Episode Zero for free!
