This is what I've found for launcher crashes and what you can try, you should read it to get a better understanding, and page 2 harrymanback133 has some useful tips but I've sumarised a few below:

Change your Windows user name if you have special charaters or characters outside of the English language. Or create a new Windows local account.
Download .NET framework - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17851
Make a clean install of graphics card driver
Reinstall Windows, and download / install the game before doing any Windows updates
